an invaluable companion to enthusiast, historian or traveller alike.
Both include an easy-to-follow, double-page plan, drawn by Lewis
Esposito, covering the route described in each book. |

The Buffet CarThe buffet car was the first vehicle of its type on any narrow gauge railway in the country. Converted from an original North Wales Narrow Gauge coach it was sold along with the rest of the stock in 1942. That it survived was one of those serendipitous events which characterise railway preservation. Here Peter Liddell covers every aspect of the vehicle using photographs and drawings. There is also a full sized reproduction of the original 1942 sale document which has also survived. £6 post paid |
